Social media for production is a half day workshop that will teach you how to use social media to improve pitches, attract talent and create a buzz around your television programmes. Social media for production uses case studies to show how Facebook, Tumblr and other networks can attract big audiences for your shows. The course will help you make the best use of different digital platforms during production and transmission.
You’ll learn how social media can strengthen your pitch to commissioners – and help build an audience before you’ve even sold the idea. To get the best out of this workshop, please come prepared to talk about your own use of social media in television. Everyone on the course will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement about ideas we discuss on the day.
Areas covered include:
Anyone who works in television or digital media content development, and anyone who wants to know more about social media.
