Whether it be a for a TV interview, a sound bite for a news clip or social media, or a longer form documentary this day long course will equip you with the pre-interview and interviewing skills you need to produce memorable interviews.
This day long practical workshop will put you in the shoes of a presenter/reporter across news, factual, music and social media content.
The morning consists of practical scenarios and examples of great and not so great interviews, some analysis and lessons learnt. We will also consider latest editorial policy and guidelines from the BBC and OFCOM around interviewing and impartiality.
In the afternoon you will put the theory into action and practice interviewing experts across different content areas. We will also learn the practical tools for good posture, breathing and body language to relax yourself and the interviewee and get the most out of your content.
Whether you are a researcher, or an executive, a one-man production company or part of a larger independent production house, arm yourself with the skills that will help you create cutting edge content and engaging interviews.
