Factual production management: introduction is a one day course covering the basic skills required to be an effective production manager (PM) on a documentary or factual programme.  Factual production management: introduction will cover scheduling, budgeting, working with a team and cost reports, using case studies and practical exercises to help you understand the many roles and responsibilities of the PM.

You’ll learn about how to draw up a production schedule and how to deal with camera crews and other contractors. The course also covers managing a budget, doing cost reports and understanding compliance.
