Casting contributors for television is a half day workshop designed to teach you how to find and cast the right people for a factual television programme. Practical training from one of the most experienced researchers in the business will help you track down those really great interviewees – and get the best out of them. Plus you’ll get useful advice on persuading interviewees to take part and finding the right diverse mix of characters.
You’ll learn or revise some of the basics – from telephone and successful cold calling to face to face interviews and building relationships. There’ll also be the chance to role play approaches to press officers, agents and experts.
