Nick Shearman has worked in factual television for 30 years, at the BBC and with numerous indies including RDF, Tiger Aspect and Keo. He has won RTS and Broadcast awards and been nominated for a BAFTA, and has made programmes for C4, C5, ITV, and Discovery. As an Exec he has produced numerous series and films, from formats such as Ladette To Lady and Oz & James’ Big Wine Adventure to Features including River Cottage and The Supervet, as well as documentary series like John Bishop’s Australia and Liberty of London. Recent films include The Secret World Of Tinder, The Billion Pound Hotel, and The World’s Most Famous Train (Orient Express). As a Commissioner at the BBC for over 4 years, his credits across all four BBC channels included Arctic with Bruce Parry, Britain’s Favourite Supermarket Foods, Britain’s Youngest Undertaker, and The London Markets, which was nominated for a Grierson Award.
