Brand New: Rising Directors Scheme!
An incredible 115 people applied for the ITF 2018 Rising Directors Scheme. We look forward to meeting some of the successful applicants coming in to pitch their inspiring ideas in the upcoming weeks.

This scheme offers 8 emerging directors a chance to produce and direct their own 3 minute short documentary that will be showcased at this year’s Sheffield Doc/Fest. Successful applications will be given a £5K budget for their documentary and mentored by an Exec Producer to offer extra support and guidance throughout the process.

We expect some amazing shorts!

Short Courses!
We are delighted to offer a FREE Post-Production Runner’s Masterclass on the 22nd March. This expert-led session is for freelance runners and junior staff interested in post-production and runs from 18:00 – 20:00. Click here for more info!

We also have limited spaces on the below courses so book asap:

Taster Week Success
Our first ever ‘Taster Week’ proved hugely popular at our new office in Euston Street. Consisting of bite-size sessions showcasing some of our new courses on the slate for 2018 it allowed time-poor people (aren’t we all!) to sample ITF-style training in our new premises.

Approximately 50 trainees attended the six dynamic courses scheduled throughout the week. Highlights of the sold out training include: Project Diamond and Drama PM Bootcamp with Addie Orfila, Influencing & Negotiating with Caroline Beaton, TV Copyright Masterclass with Debbie Langdon-Davis, Music Rights with Amelia Hartley and Creativity Masterclass with Linda Green.

Film Accounts Trainee Finder (FATF)
Creative Skillset has launched a new Film Accounts strand to their flagship Trainee Finder scheme, in partnership with The Production Guild.

The scheme will provide introductory training for numerate individuals, eager for a freelance career in the Accounting side of film production.

The trainees will become part of Creative Skillset’s Trainee Finder cohort for 12 months, benefiting from help with finding paid placements on Film productions, CPD training, networking events and direct support from the Trainee Finder team.
