Congratulation to our members who starred in Broadcasts Top Twenty Best Places to work in TV and a big thank-you for their kind words on how ITF’s training can help.
From Endemol Shine; Dragonfly “The Indie Training Fund has been really helpful and flexible in designing training that works for our individual needs. We are offering short courses at lunchtime in the office to enable easy participation for a short session, where staff can have a sandwich and learn something new.’
Shine TV. ‘Very workable, if it is tailored to peoples availability. There are one day camera courses and researcher courses offsite for the ITF. We also run bespoke courses in house, including casting for diversity, unconscious bias, C 300 camera operating and how to write a good pitch.’
Tiger aspect. ‘Formal training is workable and always greatly appreciated by staff. We contribute to the indie training fund and get a lot out of their industry tailored courses.’
Princess Productions. ‘As a member of the indie training Fund (ITF) our staff have access to a wide range of courses. We work closely with the ITF to identify any specific needs and can create bespoke training when needed. Most of our training is on-the-job or peer-to- peer. It’s a more practical way of passing on skills and information.’
Thanks too to All3 Media Lion Television, ’Short courses that address specific needs are very workable and we send a lot of staff on the ITF’s day and half day courses. We also send staff on the longer technical courses and support career development training in accounts and legal affairs. Specific training that moves someone forward in their career is available and effective’
And to Icon films, ‘We offer formal classroom or training course sessions in production, first aid, remote trauma, fire warden, risk assessment, management development and camera skills. We work with external partners such as ITF…
